Demons and Mental Illness
Read some of the articles and testimonies. Look for the article, can Christian have a demon. I had a heavy spirit of depression on me, but not in me. I cast it out. But your problem goes deeper. The devil does afflict Gods people. That's why Paul said that the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. The devil came to afflict Jesus, Jesus overcame the devil, with the word of God. The devil came to shift Peter like wheat. Peter denied he ever knew Christ, but then repented. Yes, demons can afflict Christians. We need to put on the full armor of God, and use the tools God gave us to combat him. Pamela Sheppard is an expert in deliverance counseling. I believe too many in church are ill equipped for deliverance. Too many in church, refuse to admit that there is a spirtual battle going on in the heavenlies. The battle was won at the cross, but the devil behaves as if it is still going on. The devil has not waved the white flag. Check the site, I know you shall learn a lot.
